New
Boards
We recently launched
three new current sensor breakout boards to let you easily evaluate three types
of xMR current sensors.
Three Current Sensor Board Types
|
1. |
Onboard
current strap (ACT001-10E-EVB01) |
|
This sensor
provides high sensitivity to detect currents of 500 mA or less. Its bridge configuration
provides a differential output and can be powered with any voltage from 0 to 14 V.
It provides line-voltage isolation.
|
|
2. |
Noncontact
GMR bridge sensor
(AAL024-10E-EVB01) |
|
A low-hysteresis bridge
sensor mounted over a circuit board trace allows simple detection of currents
up to 7 A with virtually no insertion loss. This configuration is ideal for
overcurrent detection.
|
|
3. |
Noncontact
smart sensor (SM223-10E-EVB02)
|
|
A precise,
smart sensor is factory calibrated for linearity and temperature stability. A
two-wire I²C interface is ideal for microprocessors and requires just a few
lines of code. This board demonstrates a current trace on the bottom of the circuit
board for high isolation. |
Ridiculously Simple Interfaces
The ACT001 and AAL024 bridge sensors use just four pins for power and a differential
output. The SM223 Smart Sensor needs just two wires for I²C and a few lines
of code, so you can be up and running in no time.
Small Sensors
Simple interfaces mean low pin counts and small packages. All three of the sensors
come in ultraminiature 2.5 x 2.5 mm DFN6 packages.
Small Boards
The boards are less than 1/2 x 1 inch (13 x 25 mm) and have your choice of sensor,
bypass capacitors as recommended, a standard 0.1-inch header and a 1 mm pitch
card-edge connector.
Succinct Documentation
Each board has a business-card size guide with pinouts and specifications. QR
codes provide links to detailed datasheets.
